Thanks for stopping by and looking at my creations. I hope to build you something that lasts a lifetime and catches many of fish.

I specialize in  building custom inshore saltwater casting and spinning rods to meet  the high demands of our discriminating customer . BCS custom rods  strives to keep the customer in mind no matter what type of fishing you do. I started building custom rods in 1990 at the Fishermen's Center in Rivera Beach, Fl. I learned from the help of some great rod builders Bill Buckland, Bob Faulkner and a few others along the way. I enjoy building rods and do it mainly as a hobby, rather than work.

Rod Blanks and Components:

Custom Rod Blanks and components I use: St Croix, American Tackle, Shikari, fuji, Pacific Bay and many many more quality companies.

Custom Rod Pricing

Cost of the rod components vary depending on the what you select.  Because of this, I don't carry a large selection of inventory. The greatest expense is going to be the rod blank. These may vary from as little as $35 to as much as $200 or more. Other components may very as well. Silicone carbide guides are more expensive than Aluminum Oxide, Hardloy, or even Alconite guides. The charge for the components is the  cost, plus shipping. In the event a particular component is not available, I will contact you and we can discuss available options.

Labor charge for building a rod is $100. This is for a rod that is simple in design with a thread wrap consisting of your choice of colors. Custom marbleizing and other rod art designs are available as well. Pricing will be determined be request.I also repair rods, guides and do re-wraps on older rods. Please inquire about pricing.
