We want The Backcountry Sportsman Forum to be your first port of call for intelligent, thought-provoking and entertaining discussions of all things related to sports and the outdoors.

We don't want any attempt at conversation to be ruined by a few people posting mindless abuse at others. So, if the need arises, we retain the right to edit or remove any material which we believe is failing to respect the spirit and tone of The Backcountry Sportsman Forum. Please note that the Forum is post-moderated.

We have devised a set of rules that outline what is deemed unacceptable Forum behavior and it is important to read these carefully. Posting to the Backcountry Sportsman Forum constitutes acceptance of these rules.

1- You must fill out your profile info 100% in order to be approved.

2- You must become an active member and remain active in order to have an active membership on the BCS forum. How do you remain active? Post pics,  fishing & hunting reports, contribute to our forum auction or just join in our mindless post chatter. You will have a 14 day grace period to look over the site before we deem you as a lurker and jack ya!

3- The BCS forum is a private forum/club whose members are a very tight knit group, we reserve the right to delete anyone who doesn't follow the forum rules or fit in with our flow.

4- No spamming. This includes posting random gibberish just to fill up space/offend people/increase your forum posting #s, and posting *only* for the sake of advertising something.
 

5-Advertising - No one should expect a free ride unless they are willing to provide one themselves. Individuals, companies or organizations that charge for their products, services or events will be required to purchase a sponsorship in order to advertise or market themselves, their products, services and/or events on this site (including your profile signature). 6- This is an over 18 years of age forum. This site contains adult themed posts and adult language. We are not here to provide parental guidance for your children. If you don't want them to see this type of stuff then we suggest you monitor what they view on the internet.  By entering the site you agree you are 18 or older.
